About Roo ~ 9 year old Foxy x (on trial 17/7/18)
Hi! My name is Roo and I'm a lovely older gentleman Foxy at 9 years of age. But don't let my age fool you. I am a fit little man who loves to go on walks and will follow you around to see if I can help you do whatever your doing.
I love to be with you whether walking, gardening or sitting cuddling up on the lounge watching TV. I am very affectionate and have a lot of love to give.
My ideal home would be with someone home a lot, ideally retired. I can have a little separation anxiety but am getting better. I am an inside dog but love being outside too. I sleep in a crate and go all night without an accident. I am toilet trained.
I currently live with 12 other dogs, small and large and 3 cats.
My hair is still growing back in some places where I had a bad flea allergy prior to being saved by DRN.
I am ready to go to my new forever home. If you think you can give this to me or want more information please email or ring my foster mum Alisa Rye at azproudaz7@gmail.com or
0416507070. I am in foster care in Newcastle area, NSW and am available for adoption interstate.
Roo’s adoption fee is $250 and he is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire. Word format: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx or PDF: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.pdf
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
