About Jesse
Jesse is an intelligent girl who loves nothing more than snuggling on the lounge with you after a busy day. Coming into care with her litter of pups, she is now ready to start a new chapter in her life with a new family. Jesse is a real snuggle bug and loves nothing better than chilling with you and soaking up all the attention she can get. Jesse loves a walk and enjoys car rides. Her life wasn't an easy one before coming into care but she is learning to trust again and once she has formed a bond with you (some quiet time with her and some gentle scratches usually wins her over quickly), she is your faithful best friend. Her Border Collie intelligence has not reached it's peak yet and she is seeking a home that can work with her to make her shine. Her working instinct would be better channelled into obedience and possibly some agility/tracking work to keep her mind stimulated. Jesse is currently living with several dogs but doesn't need a dog to keep her company, however male dogs are best if you are looking to add a friend to your current companion. Due to trauma in her right hip, she does have arthritis so all activities will have to be monitored to reduce any aggravation to the injury. Jesse is on a joint supplement to help reduce any acceleration of the arthritis. She is not suitable as a running buddy for this reason. She is toilet trained and crate trained. Jesse's new home must have secure fencing (5ft and over - no farm fencing). She is good with older kids that are quieter (absolutely no toddlers). She is not suitable for a home with cats. If you have what it takes to help take her to the next level of success in her life then please message us :)
Medical notes
Jesse does have arthritis in her right hip due to trauma. While it is being supported with joint supplements it's not hindering her her daily life at present but may do as she gets older. Exercise and weight management is needed to minimise any extra damage done to the joint. Xrays can be provided at request.
