About John ~ Kitten (on trial 22/6/2018)
Hi! I'm John. I'm a cheeky little tabby and white boy who loves nothing more than finding new adventures. During the day, I can be found climbing up my foster mums doona to try find new play areas. I love playing with the stick and feather and chasing the ball. In the evenings, I love snuggling up for a snooze with my siblings Kiki and Elton . Fortunately, Elton has found his forever family and now, it’s my turn!
Being such a lovable and affectionate kitten, I'm sure to make you happy. I am currently living with my foster mum and her menagerie of pets. My favourite is Nacho, her cat. We love playing chasies! I also love get bird who I snuggle up to and have snooze with and her older dog who thinks is my mum (I don't think she realises I'm a cat).
I am not desexed yet as I'm too young thus I can't be adopted interstate and need to be close by to my current vet in Fletcher. My perfect owner will have to be willing to bring me there for the procedure. (I have heard from the grapevine they are pretty good). Oh! I forgot! I'm toilet trained too.
I'm ready to give you all the love! Please contact my foster mum at rdbenseman@gmail.com
John’s adoption fee is $250 and includes his desexing, vaccinations and microchipping and he's been treated for fleas and worms.
Medical notes
Happy and healthy kitten.
As John is not yet desexed, he is only available for adoption to Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast and Port Stephens because he'll need to be returned to our vet for desexing when he's approximately 5 months old.
Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire. Word format: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx or PDF: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.pdf
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
