About Sasha
Meet Sasha, an elegant and funny purebred Borzoi. An affectionate lady although reserved at first, she has gainedso much confidence with people and dogs in just a few months and is getting better every day. Sasha would really love to be rehomed with her sister Nadia. Ideally her new home will be a mature family with a quiet and loving home for this gentle girl.
Sasha has the Borzoi smile, which is also common in some other breeds. It can be quite quirky when she greets you with her teeth exposed but her body language is positive and tail wagging. This is not an aggressive trait at all but just her saying hello I am so happy to see you! Sasha barks out of excitement at breakfast and dinner time, she is just so happy to be fed and loved. She doesn’t ask for much more. Oh just a warm couch or bed!
Both these girls need a quiet gentle home with an understanding of the breed, where they will gain confidence, love and in particular draw Sasha out of her shell. And how can you get past those smiles!!
They have not had the best lives to date.
Two borzois – twice as much love!!

Adoption details
We are a community fostercare network, not a shelter, and our dogs and cats are cared for in private homes. Note that we are very careful where we rehome our dogs and cats and we have an intensive process. If you want a quick turnaround we are not the group for you. If you seem like a good match for the dog of your choice we will organise a telephone chat, a meet and greet and a property check. We offer a six-week full refund, free assistance for six weeks for any issues, and a lifetime takeback policy with a fifty percent refund of the adoption fee, and of course an invitation to our adopters’ Christmas party.
We care for our dogs and cats and we want you too as well. We know that genuine applicants have no trouble with this process and understand that if we refuse you a dog or cat, it is because you are not the best match for that pet.
Our commitment to the dogs and cats in our care is total and we treat each one as if we are passing on a family pet. This may not suit you so we point out that there are equally great dogs and cats available in pounds, shelters and with other rescue groups.
