On Hold
This is our shy girl, Roxy; she is an ex-K9 dog. When her owner moved, Roxy went from being an inside-dog to an outside-dog. Roxy became very lonely, and started digging to escape.
Roxy has had little dog-socialisation, so can be reactive on the lead when seeing other dogs; this behaviour is due to fear not aggression and can be worked with.
Roxy is very shy when you first meet her. Once out of the kennel, Roxy enjoys interaction with people and having her daily walks. She is very sweet-natured, and loves to have pats and cuddles.
We feel Roxy would be suited to being the only dog in the home; she would have to be an inside-dog, as she does not like being left outside alone. Roxy is toilet-trained and has been around children.
K9 Rescue Group is more than happy to work with Roxy's new owner. She is an adorable young lady.
Date in kennels: 1st May 2015
If you find a dog you'd like to meet, give us a phone call to ensure the dog is still available and/or not off-site, e.g. vet visit, adoption day outing. Come down to our premises and fill in an Adoption Questionnaire. Then be shown around the kennels by one of our friendly volunteers and meet our Roxy.
