ABOUT LUNA
Luna is a very sweet, very loving fox terrier cross Italian greyhound.
Show her a little love, and she'll be yours forever. She loves to curl up in your lap or by your feet, and if she isn't sleeping, she'll trot around after you all day.
Luna is an active dog, and loves going for big walks or sprinting around the park, and then snoozing on her bed for a few hours to recover.
She is incredibly tolerant towards children and other dogs, and loves attention and affection. She'll nudge you with her wet little nose when she wants a pat or a cuddle. Tug of war is her favourite game, followed by chasey and doing obstacles at the dog park. Her long legs make her very fast.
A home with a big backyard, a young family or someone who is home a lot would be ideal for her.
She has epilepsy (she had her brain fluid tested and a full CT scan earlier this year that indicated she is otherwise in perfect health) and requires half a tablet twice a day.
She is a great guard dog and currently spends day time outside and comes inside at night.
Put her in your lap, though, and the rest of the world melts away if she's allowed to snuggle in and go to sleep.
A few other points – she's not a digger and doesn't destroy gardens, she loves dried liver treats and eating kale stalks and is friendly/ambivalent with other dogs and cats (she used to have a day carer with two dogs and two cats). A frozen peanut butter kong is her favourite thing in the world.
To apply to adopt Luna please complete the adoption application on the website www.lldrq.com or email stina@lldrq.com to enquire.
Medical notes
Luna has epilepsy but this is very easily managed with a daily tablet
