About Ace
Ace has been at K9 Rescue Group for over a year; as much as we love Ace, we don’t want to see him here for another year. He originally came to us as a victim of savage abuse back in 2012. Ace was saved by someone who knew he was being burnt with cigarettes and attempts at drowning.
Since coming to us, Ace has been returned twice; because of his past abuse, a variety of noises cause Ace to bolt in fear - he will try to break through doors or jump fences with no concern of the damage he causes himself. With patience, persistence and guidance from K9 Rescue Group, Ace's issues can be overcome. In all other aspects, Ace is an excellent dog.
Ace is sweet-natured and gentle. He has happily shared a home with children and cats. He knows several basic commands and is a well-behaved inside/outside dog who sleeps indoors at night. He enjoys his long-time kennel mate, Sasha, another K9 long termer; so, Ace could be settled in a one- or two-dog home.
Ace needs a home with security, affection and understanding. We truly believe Ace deserves the best home possible, and we’re determined to find it. If you have the heart, the home and the time to help Ace, we'd love to hear from you and introduce you to our handsome man.
Date in kennels: 7th October 2013
