About Dusty
Dusty is a very lovable happy boy, but he has Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. He is on Clomicalm and this has helped to settle him. Dusty can sometimes spin if confronted with a stressful situation or particular noises eg drills, pressure cleaners, printers. Dusty would do best in a calm quiet household and preferably with doggie pal who would rumble with him. He is very intelligent and learns new routines quickly. He can be mouthy at times. He weighs 10.8kg.
Adult Home: Nervous or not tolerant of children. And/or too high a level of excitability for children to control.
Suit Part Time Worker: Copes alone for short periods, with training possibly longer but presently does need someone home part of the time.
NEEDS RESCUE EXPERIENCE:
These dogs need someone with previous rescue experience in rehabilitation, with an in depth understanding of and experience in building relationships with these kinds of dogs.
SPECIAL NEEDS
All dogs need loving attention but some dogs require extra special help. They are looking for dedicated families who can commit themselves to a greater investment in their long term health. DoggieRescue is looking for Special People. Please consider opening your heart and home to one of these special dogs.
Medical notes
Dusty comes desexed, C5 vaccinated, heartworm free and microchipped.
Also included for the love and health of our doggies, is a free Health and Wellness Voucher with our DR Vet .
Adoption details
DoggieRescue is a charitable organisation and as such we rely very much on volunteers to manage our adoptions. We answer initial adoption enquiries by email or phone and then arrange an appointment for you to meet some of our rescue dogs.
At DoggieRescue we believe our dogs deserve to find that special someone who will love them and look after them forever. We know that there are homes out there that are willing to accommodate one more little member of the family and dedicate time to their well being.
