About Obie why doesn't anyone want to love me?
Hello! I am Obie's foster mum and let me tell you his story.
Obie was found with his brother alone and abandoned at about 2 weeks old. They were put with a mum cat who had 2 kittens of her own. The little family came to me not long after. He needed to be bottle fed as well. From the very start we worried about rehoming Obie and his brother Tin Tin as although they were dear little souls, simply put they were the 'ugly duckings' of the group.
But let me say this, out of all the 16 kittens I fostered this season, Tin Tin and Obie are the ones who have touched my heart the most. And this is the saddest part, Tin Tin and his mum, brothers and siblings have all gone off and found their fur-ever homes but poor little Obie is still here. He's a teenager now, and it breaks my heart to think he will soon be an adult and his chances of finding a home will become less and less.
Someone looking for a young cat is skipping past his page and missing out on the most incredible little guy, he is wise, he is funny, he is adorable, he is happy and most of all he is the most loving little boy you'll ever meet.
I love his little face with its little moustache, I love the way he runs to the front door when I get home, I love the way he twists his body when you pick him up so that he is facing you and cuddles in to your neck and those are just a few of his attributes. He just needs someone to give him a chance, he wont disappoint!
How can it possibly be that this most incredible little boy has never had one single enquiry? Perhaps because if you are still reading his story, then that special person could be you? I hope so!
