About Harlow
Miss Harlow has a far more robust character than you may expect from such an exotic breed and is a complete delight to have around! She is classed as a hairy hairless and does have some body hair. Although she is mostly hairless, her coat and skin, like all Cresties, still require a substantial amount of maintenance.
On cooler days she does need to be in her pj's or jumper as she feels the cold quite sharply. She will need to have indoor access at all times and will of course need to sleep indoors at night. She does however love the outdoors, with the sun in her hair, but her new home will need to be mindful of her skin getting burnt. She will give other dogs a run for their money in the active walking, running, playing stakes and is well socialized.
At only a year old, she is very much still a puppy, enjoying silly games and still learning the rules. She will need to attend a training course with her new family to ensure she matures to be a well mannered girl.
For all her independence she does like to keep her eye on you and is happy to sneak in a quick cuddle if the opportunity arises and is quite partial to end of the bed. She is crate trained and getting used to the harness and lead when out walking.
Harlow is looking for a breed experienced/knowledgeable home that understands the special needs of her breed. We would ask that if you have not owned a Crestie before, that you research the breed thoroughly before requesting an adoption questionnaire.
Harlow is located in Croydon North
Medical notes
Harlow goes to her new home desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea and worm treated and professionally groomed.
Harlow has a slight skin issue (blackheads) due to hormones and neglect but now that she is desexed this is getting better and we are confident they will all clear up once her hormones have settled.
