About Karo
Hi! I’m Karo, also known by my foster family as The Flying Doormat! I’ve been here for a while now and we really get on well. It took some time for us to understand each other but I’d do anything for her, including warding off cyclists who are going by on our walks to the creek.
My foster mum doesn’t even bother to tell me to get off the couch... no point really because I always find a way. I have to be able to see out into the street so I can be on guard for any strangers that dare come onto my property! If she says it’s ok then I’ll let ‘em in, no problem, and I’ll put my paws on their legs and ask for a pat.
I live with 2 Dalmatians and love chewing on George’s jowls and legs; he doesn’t mind and I’m only doing what comes naturally. If I go for his dangly bits though, I am in BIG trouble !! But he still loves me. \
I’m pretty independent and do my own thing when the people are out. I don’t wreck stuff or dig up the garden because I just couldn’t be bothered after my long walks. I’m good at coming back when I’m called too.
I’m a terrier through to the core; once I even caught mouse in the kitchen! You wouldn’t believe how fast I moved my little short legs! I reckon I could get a cat too but Mum doesn’t give me a chance. Sometimes she calls me a typical bossy terrier so and so. I wonder what that means?”
I'm on the lookout for an amazing adult family to share my life with. I’ve been waiting a while for my forever home. But my foster mum says you haven’t lived till you’ve adopted a ‘real terrier’.
