About π« Chocolate Brownie π«
π« Chocolate Brownie π« (or just Brownie for those who prefer a pet name that's a little closer to bite-sized) is one big, playful doofus packed full of love. Gentle and fun-loving, Brownie is always ready to share his warmth with everyone around him.
Despite a rough start to life, this lovable boy is in the process of learning that life can be filled with belly rubs, treats, and joy. Given Brownie's timid nature around new experiences, people, and noises, you'll discover the unique satisfaction of watching our lovely biscuit-themed friend develop into a confident and happy pup, with lots of positive reinforcement, treats and love.
Brownie shares his home with a beagle who is gentle and calm. He would benefit from the company of another doggy pal. He is also wonderful around cats and kittens.
One thing you should know about Brownie is that he is very treat-focused. This delightful pooch responds exceptionally well to positive reinforcement and has been learning all the vital doggy behaviours quickly. His recall is strong in off-leash, fenced parks; a ball held high in the air is more than enough to get his undivided attention.
His next loving household should be prepared to continue with Brownie's ongoing training, gently introducing him to worldly wonders. This will instill a newfound sense of confidence that allows him to overcome any residual caution he might have.
If you're an individual, couple, or family ready to dedicate time toward nurturing and teaching an inquisitive and affectionate four-legged friend, you might be the perfect fit for Brownie. In exchange, you'll be gifted with a loyal and genuinely joyful companion that will bring nothing but positivity and play into your lives.
Medical notes
Brownie is desexed, vaccinated, has Simparica at the beginning of each month. Because we do not have records of Brownies previous vaccinations, he is due for a booster shot at the beginning of June 24.
Brownie is lifetime registered with the council.

Adoption details
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption enquiry should be made via
https://form.jotform.com/shellys.place.rescue/adoption-enquiry
2. Once your application has been received, one of our volunteers will contact you for a phone interview. This is to determine whether one of our cats or kittens will be a good fit for your home. We all want long-term success in placing rescue animals, so finding the best fit for the animal AND the family is very important.
3. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place if the application is approved.
4. A property check will take place via a video. Once this has been successfully completed, adoption paperwork finalised and the adoption donation processed, the pet can be collected from foster care.
5. A 14 day settling-in period commences once the animal has been collected from foster care.
6. Adoption is finalised after 14 days. Paperwork/records will be included in an adoption pack.
7. All animals will be rehomed desexed, 1st vaccinated, microchipped and treated monthly for fleas and intestinal worms. Once the adoption is finalised, the new owners are responsible for all vaccinations and preventative treatments.
As we are run entirely of volunteers we endeavour to respond to your enquiry as soon as we can. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
PLEASE NOTE: We are unable to hold any animals. Please only apply if you are ready to adopt now.
