About Ashy & Suki
We at Home2Home believe everyone deserves the joy that cat guardianship brings! We love seeing wonderful cats matched with loving adopters, and we don’t want adoption fees to be a barrier to you bringing a loving cat into your heart and home. So if Ashy & Suki sounds like the cats for you, we ask you to nominate your own adoption fee amount. There is no minimum or maximum amount required, and all adoption fees continue to fund PetRescue’s life-saving programs that support pets and people!
Meet Ashy & Suki, two charming and inseparable feline companions, each possessing their own distinguished charm. Ashy, the sociable one of the pair, is always keen for a pat and scratch. Meanwhile, Suki takes her time to warm up to new people, but once she does, she's just as friendly and affectionate. While their personalities contrast, they truly complement each other perfectly.
These two sisters love nothing more than snoozing off their afternoons curled up together on a mat or rug. Their love for each other is evident in their shared enjoyment of lounging at their favourite spot on the deck's scratching post. They are former outdoor cats who've taken really well to indoor living, filling their days with lots of hearty naps.
Both Ashy and Suki have charming ways of expressing affection. Ashy, with her sweet little meow, isn't afraid to ask for extra pats when she needs them. Patient Suki, on the other hand, will sneak up on you for some cuddling time on the couch or bed once she feels comfortable. And if you're in the kitchen preparing dinner, expect a round of "conversations" with Suki, who can be quite the chatterbox!
Besides food time, which they look forward to, their day brightens when they spot local birds visiting their deck. Their inexplicable obsession with the chirping creatures will have you smiling from ear to ear. Ashy, with her adorable habit of sleeping with her paw over her face and Suki's attention-seeking belly rolls as she says, "Look at me, I'm beautiful," are unforgettable moments that make everyday life with these two a joy.
Despite their unique personalities, they have a few things in common - their love for a calm household, their knack for adapting to an apartment lifestyle, they would also prefer to live in a home without other pets, but a pair like these would complete your home.
It's with a great deal of regret that these beautiful girls are seeking a new home to spend their twilight years. Unfortunately, their human guardian's health makes them unable to care for Ashy and Suki. To ensure that their transition into their new home goes smoothly, Ashy and Suki will be rehomed with their creature comforts and a supply of food.
If you can open your heart and home to these beautiful mature ladies, please enquire today.

Medical notes
Ashy has been diagnosed with diabetes and requires twice daily insulin injections, on which she is living a stable happy life. She is very experienced with this and easy to medicate. Her guardians will provide a 3 month supply of insulin and a month's worth of her prescription food.
Suki is not diabetic but maintains the same diet as Ashy.
So that Ashy & Suki can transition smoothly into their new home, they have both completed a health check, which shows that they are in good but may require some dental treatment in the near future. These patient histories are available to be forwarded to the adopter's vet on request.
Additionally, to ensure continuity of care for Ashy's diabetes a post-adoption consultation with a veterinary clinic specialising in feline diabetes has been included at no cost to the adopter .

Adoption details
When enquiring about a pet listed with Home2Home, your enquiry goes directly to the pet’s owner - the person who knows them best!
It’s a great opportunity to ask any questions you may have about the pet, including its likes and dislikes, needs, and how it may fit into your lifestyle and family.
From here, the owner will be in touch with you to chat a bit more about their pet, and if they feel your home is the best fit, they will arrange a ‘meet and greet’ for you all to get to know each other.
Should this prove successful, arrangements will be made for the pet to move straight from its current home into yours upon payment of the adoption fee.
Home2Home currently operates a pay-what-you-can system for cat adoption fees. This means that adopters will be able to choose the adoption fee amount that is most suitable for their situation. The adoption fee is paid directly to PetRescue (via a secure payment link), and assists us to continue to run and develop programs to assist pet owners, just like Home2Home.
Following adoption - change of ownership paperwork will be completed, and proof of vaccination, microchipping and desexing (if applicable, as indicated on listing) will be provided.
