The first thing you need to know is that Ripley of deaf, he was born that way and knows no other life.
Because Ripley is deaf, he is always checking in on you when out bushwalking, down the beach or at the dog park. He can use visual cues when responding to commands and you will find that his deafness does not impede his ability to have a very full life.
Ripley absolutely loves to play and he plays like a true cattle dog - pretty full on but also gentle when he needs to be. Ripley absolutely loves racing around the dog park and playing with a huge range of friends, he is king of the kids and shows no sign of slowing down.

Ripley takes his time to get to know humans and once he has sized you up, then get ready for his affectionate, goofy, velcro personality to follow you everywhere. His playful demeanor and loving nature make him a perfect fit for a household with another dog who loves to play and needs a permanent mate. Ripley can chill on the couch, steal your bed and your heart and take you exploring in the great outdoors of Australia.
🎓TRAINING:
Ripley has just started to learn visual commands and has taken them onboard like a champion. While Ripley may be deaf, he's mastered the basics and then some! He's almost fully equipped with essential visual commands and is eager to learn more. Plus, his experience in his previous home means he's already well-versed in adapting to various situations and environments.
Ripley is house trained and crate trained.
🏠 PERFECT HOME:
Ripley is just so typical of the playful cattle dog, a real social butterfly who gets along famously with other dogs and ajusts his play to suit his mates. Whether you have a bustling household or prefer a quieter atmosphere, Ripley is adaptable and will thrive in any setting. His ideal home would be one filled with love, where he can continue to explore and enjoy life to the fullest.
The perfect home for Ripley will have someone around most of the time, wether thats at home or you take him with you but he needs to be around his human to be reassured he is not abandoned.
If you're ready to open your heart and home to a faithful velcro companion who's as adorable and versatile as they come, consider welcoming Ripley into your family.
