About Tilly
Introducing Tilly, who is as calm and friendly as they come.
Her easygoing nature has charmed everyone who's had the pleasure of meeting her. Whether life’s a whirlwind or a quiet cup of tea, Tilly is a companion who's always there, ready to offer her gentle and supportive presence.
Tilly's personality is a delightful mix of friendly, fun, independent, and incredibly social.
A lover of life’s simple pleasures, Tilly's favourite things include not only daily walks but also belly rubs and lounging on the couch or her comfy bed.
Her independent yet social nature makes her comfortable in her own company while always being keen to join in on any human activities.
One of her adorable quirks is the way she investigates the outside world. Tilly finds joy in her daily walks where she sniffs every intriguing bush, often sticking her entire head in, providing a comical and heart-warming sight to all who are watching.
While she is undeniably a couch potato at heart, Tilly loves her daily walk, which she typically enjoys at a leisurely pace. Besides walks, she has a unique pre-nap ritual that never fails to bring a smile to anyone’s face. Tilly paws at her bed, circles a few times until she finds the perfect position, and eventually flops down for a well-deserved rest.
Tilly communicates with her environment in the most endearing ways. Expect a joyous tail wag every time she hears "time for a walk," "dinner time," or simply when she gets to see her beloved people. [Check out the cute videos of Tilly below!]
As a sensitive soul, Tilly will need a family that can provide her with a calm and composed environment that she prefers. Tilly will thrive with children aged between 6-12 years old, outdoor access, and good meals, which she savours slowly and at her own pace.
In her new home, Tilly needs no feline companions but she would love a comfortable bed to rest in, and a family that is patient enough to give her the time and encouragement she needs to fully enjoy her surroundings.
For Tilly, life is all about routines and familiar comforts. Provide her with these, and Tilly will reward you with a wellspring of affection and trust, making a happy, fabulous addition to your family.
Overall, Tilly is a lovely mature lady who fits perfectly into the hustle and bustle of family life, providing love and calmness to her home. She looks forward to meeting her new family soon, and is ready to shower them with all the love she has to give.
Medical notes
Tilly is a spirited senior girl who lives life to the fullest, but as with any aging, there can be some stiffness in the joints.
Lily dreams of a home with an extra large, comfy bed to support her long, graceful limbs and joints, and help to manage her recurring hygroma (which is just a fancy word for lump).
She has also had some dental work along the way, but it doesn't stop her from enjoying her favourite treats.

Adoption details
When enquiring about a pet listed with Home2Home, your enquiry goes directly to the pet’s owner - the person who knows them best!
It’s a great opportunity to ask any questions you may have about the pet, including its likes and dislikes, needs, and how it may fit into your lifestyle and family.
From here, the owner will be in touch with you to chat a bit more about their pet, and if they feel your home is the best fit, they will arrange a ‘meet and greet’ for you all to get to know each other.
Should this prove successful, arrangements will be made for the pet to move straight from its current home into yours upon payment of the adoption fee.
The adoption fee is paid directly to PetRescue (via a secure payment link), and assists us to continue to run and develop programs to assist pet owners, just like Home2Home.
Following adoption - change of ownership paperwork will be completed, and proof of vaccination, microchipping and desexing (if applicable, as indicated on listing) will be provided.
