About Moon
The phases of Moon are eat, play, sleep, snuggle, repeat.
The way to my heart is through my belly, meal times are my favourite time of day. I love to chat to chef as it's prepared, I didn't realise how hungry I was. I'm always grateful when it arrives and use my manners to say thank you with a head butt or a kiss.
I love to play, especially if it's climbing on my scratching post, sitting high above the people walking past, people watching is great! My favourite toys are a paper bag, cardboard box and mouse, so much fun to be had. I love to do zoomies with them, and run around them/jump into them. I can definitely make my own fun.
Honestly though, sometimes after 5 minutes play time, I need a nap.
I can sleep anywhere. My best spots are in the sunny window with my belly on show, tucked up on the dining chairs and on my bed (my foster mum says it's technically her bed). But then it's time to snuggle- I want to be on or as close to my human as possible. I love to curl up on my foster Mum to watch a movie, while I get my head scratched, but I always fall asleep and miss the ending.
I'm a great helper around the house. I'm the purrfect alarm clock, then love a snuggle in the morning. I always help with the chores- chasing the mop, sitting on the washing to make sure it's contained in the basket and cleaning my bowls. I'm curious, not shy when I meet new people, it's an opportunity to give more love! I'm also a self warming heat pack.
We could be best friends snuggling on those cold winter evenings. I would love to find my forever home with you!!
LOCATION: FOSTER CARE **Application Process** If you are interested in this pet and ready to adopt now, please send in an application to the SCAR Adoption Team. On the Pet Rescue profile, push the "Enquire About This Pet" button. Follow the prompts to "send enquiry now" and in the message section please tell us all about you and your home. Ensure you tell us about anything specific that you feel makes you a great match for this particular pet, or if you have specific requirements for a pet coming in to your home. Please note the following: We do not take applications for animals over the phone, as we are a small team and are trying our best to be fair to all applicants while creating the best outcomes for our animals. We aim to reply to all applications within 7 business days, and will confirm with all applicants once we have an adoption meet booked for the animal. All of our meet and greets occur at the adoption center in Craigieburn, and all going well you will take home your pet on the day of the meet. The majority of our animals are in a foster home, not at the shelter, so you need to apply via the website to meet them. Thank you! www.secondchanceanimalrescue.com.au ... because they all deserve one!
