About Yipi
**LAST LITTER LEADS TO NEW LIFE**
Meet HD2821 Yipi, self proclaimed fabulous mother (and still practically a puppy herself), this handsome young girl landed herself in some hot water getting knocked up in a remote community with no family or friends to help her out!
She kept her puppies completely hidden under the house for weeks. As her valiant rescuer began feeding her she became more trusting. One day after feeding her she went away and came back with three puppies to be fed. The next day she came back with all eight!
Now she's helped her babies reach their full potential and all have found their new homes, we're happy to report Yipi has no plans of another family and has blossomed in care.
She plays happily with the resident (tiny) dog, is learning to love being an inside pampered pooch and will shortly be ready to look for her own new beginning.
Of course growing up in the bush she's not had much of a chance to learn about everything that comes with living in civilised society but she's taking it in her stride.
She is a little wary of strangers but will love you once she gets to know you, she had never had a collar or lead on so that is a very new and scary sensation for her, and she will need patience, love and time to shine. She doesn't like things being thrown, so no games of fetch just yet (we feel she may have had things thrown at her to send her away). Yipi is a medium sized, kelpie-style dog and while recovering fabulously from a life on the land, still has a little bit of filling out to do.
We know you will love her as much as we do, so if you are looking for a soft, sweet and loyal companion message us or email hedland.dogs@safe.org.au to arrange to meet this beautiful girl!
