About Hazel
🚨🐾 URGENT ADOPTION NEEDED 🐾🚨
🐾 Meet Hazel 🐾
Background history:
Hazel was found at a park. Her tail was tightly bound by a ribbon, attached to a tree!
It appeared that she had been left there for days, as she was exhausted. Her tail was bleeding from the tight binding as she attempted to escape without success.
When she was discovered by one of our caregivers, she was rushed to the nearest vet, but they initially refused to help. They believed she was feral and beyond saving.
Naturally, we disagreed!
Thankfully, the amazing Dr
Donna stepped in and agreed to see Hazel after hours. Hazel underwent emergency surgery to amputate her tail and has since recovered.
However, due to her traumatic experience, poor Hazel is nervous and scared. Despite this, she has never shown any aggression towards humans. Hazel gets along well with other cats, provided they are friendly and are not bullying her. She has also been around other cats and children and is very gentle!
Now it’s time for Hazel to find her forever home, where she can receive the love and attention she deserves.
Please consider opening your heart and home to Hazel.
She really is a sweetheart!
Thank you. 🐾❤️

Adoption details
Before Adoption:
Before adopting a new pet, ensure all family members understand that a pet is an emotional and financial commitment that you need to be prepared to love, house and keep safe for the next 15 to 20 years. This means premium nutrition, preventative health care, regular veterinary check-ups and keeping them inside or only having access to a cat proof area or yard. Pet insurance with accident and illness cover gives you piece of mind knowing your pet can get the veterinary care they may need and you don’t have to worry about if the expense.
We start off by either emailing you our adoption questionnaire or having a chat on the phone to get some details about who you are and what you’re looking for in a feline companion. The next step is to organise a meet and greet. Depending on your location, we bring the feline/s to you or you can come and visit the orphanage. There is usually a 24-hour wait from the meet and greet to collecting your new family member so everyone has a night to think things over and so you have a chance to get your home repaired. If all goes well and everyone is happy, the adoption paperwork is signed and you collect your new family member.
All adoptions are subject to a two-week settling-in period. If for any reason your new addition is not suited to your lifestyle, you are welcome to return them for a full refund of the adoption fee. All adoptions come with an adoption pack that contains all their certificates and paperwork, information on preventative health care, diet, pet insurance and potential toxins/poisons around the home.
