Hi I’m Mack, I’m looking for someone who’s willing to give me lots of love. I am really looking for a family who’s home a lot, will include me in their daily activities or has a doggy friend for me to play with.
I’m good on the lead, just happy to be walking. Nothing much makes me nervous or reactive. I don’t mind other people, cars and bikes - I don’t even react to motorbikes when they start right next to me. I would like to chase the birds that I see on my walks, but foster mum won't let me!
I am playful, I like to play tug of war with rope and fetch and chase balls. I’m very calm and like my food, but mostly I love pats and tummy rubs. I have amazing doggie manners and have met many different dogs in care (including grumpy ones who I leave alone).
I like to follow my human around, and not lose sight of them. So my foster carer leaves me outside and is working on crate training to help me learn boundaries. But if I had my choice I would just lie down wherever you are and go to sleep. I am going to need a family who has patience, a secure yard and high fences- at least 1.8m - if I am to be left alone. Although with a doggy friend I settle quickly and am currently left alone with my foster brother during the day.
I am already an amazing dog, but with a little time and continued training I will be a loyal and affectionate companion for life.
Mack is $350 to adopt and comes desexed, microchipped, C5 vaccinated, heartworm tested (negative), and given flea/tick/worm prevention.
