About Rocky
Meet Rocky, a spirited Border Collie with a heart as big as his boundless energy. At just 9 months old, Rocky is on the lookout for a new breed-experienced home where he can thrive and grow into the exceptional companion he's meant to be.
Rocky is not your average pup; he's bursting with intelligence, enthusiasm, and a deep-seated affinity for his people. His transition to a new environment has been challenging, as he adjusts to the unfamiliar sights and sounds of urban life. However, given time and understanding, Rocky is sure to blossom into a loyal and affectionate companion.
As a true working breed, Rocky exhibits classic herding tendencies, a testament to his lineage. During his teenage years, he may display nipping behavior, which requires gentle guidance and consistent training to channel his instincts appropriately.
Rocky would thrive in a quieter environment away from the hustle and bustle of city life. A fenced yard where he can explore and play freely would be ideal. While Rocky has previously been exercised at dog parks, he's never lived with a dog before. Therefore, starting off in a home without another dog or gradually introducing him to one at home will be essential.
Rocky would do best with patient adults or older teenagers who can provide him with the time and attention he deserves. An experienced Border Collie owner who understands the breed's quirks and requirements would be an excellent match for Rocky's needs.
If you're ready to welcome Rocky into your heart and home, be prepared for a lifetime of love, loyalty, and adventure. With the right guidance and environment, this spirited pup is sure to become an invaluable member of your family.
