Introducing the Lucien of the Acotar litter!
I am a young, energetic Kelpie x Cattle Dog pup who is now ready to find my new family. I’m the quieter one, but definitely join in when there’s fun to be had! I LOVE cuddles and enjoy the company of people and dogs, although will sometimes sit back and watch my siblings running around instead. Being more reserved I would be ok with dog savvy young children, although I am still a puppy with sharp teeth! I would benefit from a less dominant doggy sibling to build my confidence and show me the world, as I can be a little unsure about new situations. The flip side of this is that I am the cuddliest pup of the litter and LOVE my people.
I have been living with two of my siblings, one big doggy brother, plus four young human ones (age 5-14), as well as a cat and chicken sisters. I sleep crated with my siblings overnight happily - just a little whine when first put in then sleep through until woken up by children in the morning. A late evening toilet break usually sees me get through until morning with no accidents! During the day I will toilet as soon as I am let outside. Aren’t I smart?
Being a working dog pup, I am clever, busy and curious. I will need a home who understands the needs of working dogs and is committed to training and enrichment activities. I am very interested in the cat and chickens but am young enough to learn to live together and would happily join a busy household… as long as you make time to teach me lots too, or I will find my own entertainment otherwise - socks are not safe with me around! I would make a great tradie dog or family pet.
I would do best with a resident mentor dog and children of school age or older. I am not particularly nippy for a cattle dog cross and the vet estimates that I will be 12-17kg fully grown, so a medium size dog.
Also check out my siblings Rhysand, Morrigan and Tarquin and our videos of us being adorable.
