Profile and needs in a home.
Hello,
I’d like to introduce myself, my names Copper and I’m 1.
My foster mum says I’m the handsomeness boy and the perfect all-round pup, but I don’t know about all that, I’m just happy to be wherever she is and oh I love play time!
She keeps saying that I snuggle like a cavvie and speed around like a poodle and she says I have a lot of personality, whatever that means but I do know that I like snuggles and running so would love a reasonably active home and one that permit me to snuggle on the lounge.
So, I haven’t had the best start in life, but I’m really loving the big world out here. Sometimes I get a little scared but mostly I love everything!
I love the park, I love playing and racing through the house with my big foster brother who is a German Shorthaired Pointer and exploring the garden - it’s the best.
My mum says that I will need a home that can continue to give me new experiences in the outside world, whilst not overwhelming me.
I don’t know what I’d do if I didn’t have a dog brother or sister to help me find my way in this big world as they give me a lot of confidence in the outside world while I am finding my way.
I love everyone I meet, and they all say how cute I am and pat me, I love a good neck and belly rub, oh, this is the life!
I love other dogs but can be a little scared when first meeting big hyper dogs, but hey, I’m only little!
I’d like my new home to have hoomans who are home most of the time as I get upset if left alone for too long. I really need a dog brother or sister that I can play with and sleep next to, that’s really important to me and I feel safer when they’re around.
I will need daily exercise and training as I’m still an active pup and I'm getting better with my toilet training, my foster mum says I’m a smart boy and a super quick learner.
I maybe ok with older children who are kind and respectful of animals, provided I had somewhere safe to retreat to if I needed a break.
I’m looking for my forever family who will welcome me into their home and love me as much as I’ll love them. I can’t wait to meet you.
If you think you have the perfect home for me, please send the hoomans as much detail as possible on yourself and the home you are able to provide including your location, contact number, your dog and any other pets (if any), family members, lifestyle, exercise and mental stimulation you will provide, how often I would be alone, where I will have access in the home, where I would go if you went away and could not take me with you, ability to cover vet expenses and any other information you wish to provide.
Much love and big hugs,
Copper x x
