-You Live on the Central Coast or you don't mind traveling to the Central Coast for her vet checks on her leg.
-Have a home with no stairs.
-Can offer Lani a home with an older doggy, who isn't very playful or a home as an only dog.
-You can continue to use her current vet.
-Frenchie experience or have done intensive research into the breed.
-A home where she'll be an inside/outside dog.
-A home that will be able to cope with her needs when she has to have her leg removed. This we will pay for at our vet when she needs it done.
-A home that keeps her trained to not jump up on the lounges or beds. Or can offer her ramps to avoid jumping.
-A home with older kids or no kids.
These are a must due to her health issues and are not negotiable so please don't apply if your family/home isn't suitable. Thanks :)
Ok now that's out of the way let's introduce you to our beautiful 9 month old French Bulldog Lani.
Lani has had a rough start in life and you may remember her story on our page? If you don't please read about her long journey after she broke her front right leg in 2 places.
Lani is a beautiful girl who loves her people and is very cat/dog social. She still gets a little shy when meeting new people but she's definitely getting better at this.
Lani has been living with 3 cats and absolutely loves them. She is gentle with them and listens to their warnings if they don't feel like being sniffed, licked or slept on 😆
Lani will need her leg removed once she starts getting pain due to the bones in that leg breaking down further because one of her breaks unfortunately never healed. This procedure the rescue will pay for at Stella Street Vet at Long Jetty when the time comes. We also ask that she remains using this vet in the future. We don't know when this will happen but we know it definitely will be part of her future. Michael her amazing vet wants to leave her leg on as long as she's not in pain due to her spinal issues. Yes you read that right, Lani also has 5 hemi vertabra issues in her spine and also has a curvature of the spine :(
This is why it's important to find her the best home environment to suit her special needs. Not that you would know it as she is one crazy little ball of energy.
Lani is crate trained and is toilet trained with only occasional accidents. So continued training is a must and following our daily routine will help her continue in her new home.
If you can provide a home for this sweet girl please send us a detailed enquiry.
Please remember that it's not first in best dressed, it's about finding her the perfect home that suits her needs.
Thanks 👍

Adoption details
If you would like to express interest in adopting, we ask that you send through some info about yourself, your family and home, if you rent or own (rental agreement required if renting and rates notice required if you own) and what you can offer this gorgeous baby. Our aim is to find the best homes for our babies, not necessarily first in best dressed, so a good detailed application will make you stand out from the rest.
Once we have received your email outlining the above, those who we feel may be suitable, will be sent an Adoption Questionnaire to complete. Your enquiry will then be passed onto the appropriate carer and successful applicants will be contacted via phone.
