Hi guys, I’m Millie & I must have some ants in my pants cause I just can’t sit still. I’m just a typical adolescent cattle dog, I love life and have bundles of energy to burn on adventure with you. I’d like to find a human that lives life as much as I do, someone fit and active who wants to do lots of stuff with me.
Moving into foster care has been an eye opening experience. I’ve learnt I have follow few basic house rules and I’ve met other dogs. I hadn’t had much interaction with other dogs before coming here. When I first met my new foster siblings I panicked, yelped and run away from them. I quickly realised they’re weren’t a threat and now I love wrestling, playing and racing around the yard with them. I wouldn’t mind a home with another dog so we can burn energy together but I did previously live by myself so it’s not essential.
I’m young and still learning so I currently pull on the lead and jump up for pats but I’m trying to be a well behaved dog. With a bit of lifestyle training I will become an amazing dog. I’m just young and so excited to be doing absolutely everything, especially with you. I just love being included. I’m eager to learn and keen to please you. My foster mum has crate trained me, it’s good because I get a much needed full nights rest and can’t run a muck during the night. Although my bed did explode all by itself one night. I’m mostly an outside dog but I do get inside privileges if I remember that inside is not a playground and definitely not a place to practice my parkour. Inside time is quite time or bed time as my crate is also inside.
I like playing with toys. I like fetch but I’m not great at giving the ball back just yet. I also like chew toys, they allow me to chew without being ‘naughty’. After all I’m basically still a puppy remember. I also absolutely unreservedly LOVE water. I’ll splash around in the water bowl if you don’t give me a paddle pool. My foster home has paddle pools in the backyard yard it’s my favourite thing ever. I splash and roll around, dig the water. I sprint for the pools as soon as I’m let out of my bed(crate) in the morning. I’ll run a circle around the yard then launch in the pool then repeat. It’s a great way to keep cool especially with summer fast approaching.
Kids! So I’m a very friendly loving dog, and I’ve learnt I can’t climb all over my foster mum when ever I want to but I can still be a bit of a wrecking ball when in zoomie mode. She doesn’t appreciate it when I do jump kick flips off her and your kids probably won’t either. I’m probably better to not be with kids or with older kids that I’m less likely to knock over and hurt. I’ll get better with guidance and age but I’m just so enthusiastic about life.
If you’d like some free spirited, good chaotic energy in your life. The kind of buddy that greets life with a can do let’s go attitude, a running buddy, an adventure buddy then Millie is the girl for you. She’s a laugh a minute kind of girl who would love to find a human that matches her energy and lifestyle.
Millie is $350 to adopt and comes desexed, microchipped, C5 vaccinated, heartworm tested (negative), and given flea/tick/worm prevention.
