About Supreme Cheese
Supreme Cheese is the cat of your dreams! This cool as a cucumber chap is very easygoing and loves to be doted on. He's a chatty boy but knows how to use his “inside” voice, so no worries about keeping the peace. Supreme Cheese adores getting pats and scratches behind the ears and along his neck, while also being content to snooze the day away on a sunny windowsill. Supreme Cheese is low maintenance and needs a home where he can rule the roost as an only pet. He also loves using his scratching post to sharpen his claws! If you're looking for an affectionate, loyal companion, look no further than Supreme Cheese.
Strong Hearts has in indoor-only cat policy. The only exception to this is if a prospective adopter has a secure outdoor enclosure, which a cat can safely access.
Medical notes
Supreme Cheese is FIV+.
FIV+: Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) is a viral infection that affects cats. It is important to note that FIV is not a big deal and should not deter potential cat owners from considering adopting a cat with this condition. Here's a brief explanation of FIV to alleviate any concerns:
FIV is primarily transmitted through deep bite wounds during aggressive fights between cats. It weakens the immune system, making affected cats more susceptible to infections. However, cats with FIV can live long, happy, and healthy lives.
One important thing to know is that FIV is not contagious to humans or other non-feline animals. It is specific to cats and does not pose any risk to human health. It's also important to note that FIV-positive cats can coexist peacefully with FIV-negative cats.
The virus is not easily transmitted through casual contact such as grooming, sharing food bowls, or even snuggling. It would require deep and aggressive bites for transmission to occur.
Due to a nationwide shortage of Feline F3 vaccines, Supreme Cheese has only received one of these crucial immunisations before adoption and is now overdue for their booster. This vaccine guards against Feline Panleukopenia, Feline Herpesvirus, and Feline Calicivirus.
For details and further information you will be provided with a vaccination waiver. Feel free to discuss with our Adoption Coordinator during the adoption process.

Adoption details
Regardless of the breed of animal you are looking to adopt, our adoption process is the same.
The first step of the process involves submitting an adoption application form. The form helps us understand a little bit more about you and your household and is used to figure out whether animal is the right fit for your household and what you are looking for, and also if your household is the right fit for the animal.
After a review process, shortlisted applicants will be contacted by one of our volunteer adoption coordinators usually by phone call or message. This is an informal conversation to discuss any questions we may have about the application and re-confirm any information provided. It is usually at at this point that we will organise a Meet & Greet with you and the animal.
It is a Strong Heart’s adoption policy to arrange a Meet & Greet with the prospective family and the animal before finalising the adoption. The Meet & Greet will allow the opportunity to visit the animal and have a pat and a play with them. The foster carer will tell you a bit about the animal's personality and what they have been like for the time they’ve been in their care. It is a great opportunity to ask the carer about the animals food, sleeping and any other health requirements.
If the Meet & Greet goes well on the day, in most cases you will be able to take the animal home straight away after payment of the adoption fee. All necessary paperwork including vet work history and transfer of ownership information will be sent via email within a few days unless otherwise specified.
