Are you looking for a handsome and super intelligent doggie with wonderful manners as a new member to your family? Well, my name is Ringo, and it could be me!!
Currently I'm staying at my foster home. I have a foster mum and dad, a teenage boy, and two doggie mates. I also have a small fluffy friend ("guinea pig" I think you call them?), and some feathery friends, but I'm not interested so I don't pay much attention to them.
I'm house and crate trained. I love my crate (it’s my cozy den) and this is the place where I snooze and relax. I prefer to have somewhere I can feel safe to start with. I can be a bit skittish and overwhelmed until I get to know new people and environment, so having a crate or my own little space is beneficial for me. Once I start to feel like I'm at home, I will open up very quickly and become the friendliest guy in the whole world.
I love my doggie friends. Playing with my foster mates is the one of my favourite things. I need some time to feel comfortable around dogs I don't know, so please take time when you introduce them to me. In my new home I need a submissive buddy who can teach me how to relax. Boisterous doggies can make me go crazy and feel a little bit overwhelmed.
I prefer to have my friends at home, but I can be an only dog too as long as you stay home most of the time. I might start to feel lonely and nervous when you leave me at home by myself to start with, so please take time and teach me that you are always coming back to me.
Another thing I love is going out with my people. Daily walks are fun (I walk well on the lead) but I love exciting adventures! I enjoy car rides and finding new places. My foster family say I'm fantastic in the car. I'm a very good travel buddy apparently. I hope my future family will take me out a lot so that I can keep exploring the world.
My foster home has 5–6-foot fences all around. I'm an athlete and can jump quite high, so I need high secure fences to keep me safe. I spend most of the day lying under the car port or wrestling with my foster sister, so I really don't need a big yard. Just enough space for running around and some zoomies. Did I mention I love rope and tug of war? I also love "fetch"!
Sound perfect for you? Come and meet me so that we get to know each other!!
Love
Ringo
