Hello everyone, my name is Daisy. My foster mum says that I have to tell everyone about myself in the hope that someone will take a liking to me and give me a forever home.
Well I’m not too sure what exactly what I am supposed to say but here goes.
Gentle in nature and a natural beauty, that’s why my foster mum tells me she named me Daisy.
When I first arrived into the safety of rescue it’s was all very different and a little scary so my foster mum would hold me close and sing a song about Daisies and it was then I knew it was as going to be ok, that I was going to be ok. I guess that’s why I love affection from my people so much, it makes me feel safe and loved. I don’t know if I was supposed to share with you about foster mum’s singing though , so maybe we should keep that between ourselves.
My most preferred position is curled up in your lap purring away but if you are busy I am happy to find a foster sibling to share a nap with. My gentle nature has me getting along with everyone, free from any issues. I live with two dogs, one little one, one big one and that’s fine by me.
Being an all round perfect companion you will find much delight in watching me at play. I am a speedster chasing down a ball, or latching on to waving ribbons . Be prepared to always have a smile on hand with me in your life.
Now back to that song that foster mums sings….. i will give you a Daisy a day dear, I will love you until the rivers run still, and the four winds we know blow away.
If you think you could love me until the rivers run still me please email the rescue at fostersadoptslpr@gmail.com or pm the Silver Lining Pet Rescue Inc facebook page.
(Please note: all our cats kittens are adopted as inside only)

Adoption Process
Once you have decided you would like to meet or apply for one of our pets, we email out our Adoption Application. We ask that the Adoption Process be read and if comfortable with how we adopt, complete the application and email it back for processing. This takes approximately 5-7 days. If approved the pet will come for a 6 week trial for cats and 3 week trial for dogs . We believe it takes that long for a pet to settle. If all goes well during the trial and you wish to finalise the adoption we email all vet certificates and change of microchip forms. We believe in matching the right pet with the right home so your application does not guarantee an approval.
