About Ruby
Hi! My name is Ruby and my sister's name is Rosie. We are two beautiful yet shy kittens who are currently in foster care. Our foster mum is helping us learn to be more trusting of humans and less startled by noises. She said although we are still timid, we are so much more confident than we were when she first met us. She has managed to convince us that pats and cuddles aren't so bad after all! In fact, Rosie and I are quite fond of getting pats from our foster mum now!
We are looking for a quiet forever home with a patient, loving person who can spend lots of one-on-one time with us to continue to develop our confidence. We would love to be adopted together as a pair because we are very close however, we can be adopted separately. We haven't met any children but we don't really like the sound of living with them, particularly the little ones.
Rosie and I love playing together and getting up to mischief. We also love breakfast and dinner time when we get to eat our yummy, tinned food. Other things we love include playing in boxes, climbing, and chasing each other around the foster room. Our foster mum says we are a bit destructive with the cat toys, but we really just want to play with (and eat) the stuffing inside! We need lots of reminders that eating stuffing and other things that aren't food will upset our bellies.
Adoption details
Just browse some of the photos of our beautiful cats available for adoption or come to our shelter in Shenton Park to meet our many beautiful kitties.
Please be aware that the cats featured on this page represent only a very small portion of the total number of beautiful felines we have available for adoption. We do not include any of our kittens on this page, as the turnover for youngsters is simply too high to keep up-dating, but we always have many beautiful kittens looking for homes!
Also many of our cats and kittens are currently staying in temporary foster homes out in the community but are still looking for a loving home, so please call Cat Haven in advance if you want to make arrangements for a meeting with a foster cat.
