About Marley
Marley is a friendly happy pup who loves to play with other young dogs. He is affectionate with people however he has a slight disability that does not affect his life span. As he is growing he seems to manage his balance better and it does not interfere with his doggy play. Marley is also child friendly and would suit 12+yo. Our trainer says: Lovely friendly boy. A little nervous/jumpy with new things. Better in an adult or older child environment only because he falls more when gets excited or worried."
Update 21/6, Marley has just come back after MRI and CSF (spinal fluid) tap. The report reveals he has Cerebellar Hypoplasia, a condition where his cerebellum has not developed properly and is smaller. There is no medication to give and he should have a normal life, but he will always be a bit wobbly and can fall at times. He is about 7kg and has a smooth coat. He is looking for a family where someone is home a lot of the time.
Update 5/10/22
Marley has been visiting dog parks. He has been really good on the walking, generally managing to stay upright until towards the end of walks when tiredness sets in. He is still a little shy of meeting new people, especially men but has been prepared to be approached a second time and has been good with them then. He has been great with the dogs he has met, especially the smaller ones. Everyone thinks he is just the cutest big pup.
Suit Part Time Worker: Copes alone for short periods, with training possibly longer but presently does need someone home part of the time
Garden: Needs a home that has more space as well as a garden for exercise and regular walks outside.
SPECIAL NEEDS
All dogs need loving attention but some rescue dogs require extra special help. They are looking for dedicated families who can commit themselves to a greater investment in their long term health. DoggieRescue is looking for Special People. Please consider opening your heart and home to one of these special dogs.

Adoption details
DoggieRescue is a charitable organisation and as such we rely very much on volunteers to manage our adoptions. We answer initial adoption enquiries by email or phone and then arrange an appointment for you to meet some of our rescue dogs.
At DoggieRescue we believe our dogs deserve to find that special someone who will love them and look after them forever. We know that there are homes out there that are willing to accommodate one more little member of the family and dedicate time to their well being.
