About Macie
Macie is an eight month old German Shepherd puppy who is looking for a new home.
She came into care with two brothers, who are also looking for new homes.
Macie is currently with an experienced foster carer who is giving her firm boundaries, daily walks and exercise coupled with fun and loving, and she has been house and crate trained.
She is a real snuggle bum and also very vocal. A real sweetie.
Macie is great with the cat and would need a big brother to help with her confidence.
Now before you take the next step think about -
Do you have the time and patience for a young, full of energy and test you out German Shepherd puppy.
Forget the morning sleep ins she wants to go for long walks and will demand your immediate attention.
If you can’t tolerate dog hair and paw prints on your clean floors and nose marks on the windows for the next twelve years plus then think twice about adopting a shepherd.
But if you have owned a German Shepherd, understand their needs and want a dog that is loyal and intelligent to boot then Macie could be the dog for you.
Currently in care at Ryde, NSW Macie will need a committed owner who understands she is young and will need time and commitment to grow into a calm and mature dog.
She is in perfect health and full of life.

Medical notes
Macie is microchipped and vaccinated and will be desexed when she is older.
Adoption details
We have an Adoptions Manager who screens all prospective candidates as to their suitability to adopt a German Shepherd Dog.
We try to contact every one by phone but if that isn't successful we will email our application form to you, which needs to be completed and returned, or you can call us back and we can chat and complete for you. We will also ask you to provide photos of your yard and fencing to enable us to see where the dog will be kept and that they have areas of shade and shelter.
All our dogs are ready to go to their new home, so when you enquire about a dog you must be in a position to take them into your home. We are unable to hold a dog while you fix your fences or go on holiday, etc.
The successful candidate who adopts one of our dogs is provided with an information kit, ongoing support, training and advice on all aspects of feeding, training and general assistance to ensure both the new owner and our rescued dog settle into their home.
