About Matilda
A bit about Matilda
Matilda is a very sweet little girl. She has the perfect little pout which brings out her inner sass, but this is purely for looks. She is quite shy around humans as she is still learning to trust. She has come a long way since being in foster care and loves the company of her feline foster sisters. While she doesn't tolerate being touched by humans, she is happy to have a yarn with you first thing in the morning. Matilda loves to play, her favourite games are chasing ping-pong balls around the house, catching the tiny red dot of a laser toy and spinning the balls around her tornado toy. She will find all the best spots around the house for a snooze whether that's on the end of a bed, snuggling into the cushions on the couch or catching some afternoon sun. She loves her foster sisters and has picked up on some of their behaviours since being in foster care. She is not a big eater, but does enjoy a creamy treat and is very good at toileting in her litter tray/s. Matilda will need to go to a quiet home with no young children as she is easily spooked by loud noises and sudden movements. She would love to have a confident feline friend to play with and to help build her trust of humans. Her forever family will need to be patient as she settles into her new environment.
Adoption details
Just browse some of the photos of our beautiful cats available for adoption or come to our shelter in Shenton Park to meet our many beautiful kitties.
Please be aware that the cats featured on this page represent only a very small portion of the total number of beautiful felines we have available for adoption. We do not include any of our kittens on this page, as the turnover for youngsters is simply too high to keep up-dating, but we always have many beautiful kittens looking for homes!
Also many of our cats and kittens are currently staying in temporary foster homes out in the community but are still looking for a loving home, so please call Cat Haven in advance if you want to make arrangements for a meeting with a foster cat.
