Chocolate-Chip

Chocolate-Chip was lovingly surrendered to our care recently, through no fault of his own - Unfortunately due to ongoing health concerns, the family decided it was the best option for Chocolate-Chip to find another loving home. This is where Chocolate-Chip's sad story ends and his new life begins with us @ Lost Souls Rabbit Refuge!

Chocolate-Chip is a ball of energy and really LOVES to be LOVED! Definitely the centre of attention and needs to know what you're up to just in case there's something in it for him (treats mostly). He knows what he likes and doesn't like but this just adds to his big personality. Chocolate-Chip has a very bright personality and it's hard not to have a smile on your face when you look at him, he is just so handsome! He has such a gentle soul, and a big personality and at times he can be quirky and ridiculous (in a good way) too. He doesn't mind being held as he has been well handled since a baby. He is fine with being brushed and isn't fussed with having his nails clipped either. He has a short coat that's easy to care for with a weekly brush and 2-3 times a week when he is going through a heavy moult. Chocolate-Chip is a mini lop although his ears never lopped as a baby, he is small in size weighing in at just under 1.2kg. One thing is for sure, he will bring someone so much joy as he has with us!

Food, food, and more food! Chocolate-Chip hasn't been fussy so far except didn't appreciate the snow peas last night lol! In his short time with us, we have experimented with different fruit and vegetables which Chocolate-Chip has enjoyed. Oaten hay is his choice of hay and the quantity of hay he is eating is gradually getting more and more each day. He does love his dried kiwi fruit and apple slice treats!

Chocolate-Chip is just 5 months and 2 weeks old and he has been desexed plus vaccinated and microchipped by The Unusual Pet Vets.

Chocolate-Chip was bonded to his male brother Breadcrumb but they have since gone their separate ways. There MIGHT be potential for him to be bonded to a desexed female of similar age or very easily be a single spoilt bunny (what he has been used to). We are looking for a lovely forever home for Chocolate-Chip and know the right person or family is out there for him. Ideally, we would be looking for a home where Chocolate-Chip would be indoors (large pen setup) and be a part of everyday living.

Chocolate-Chip's adoption fee is $210 which includes his desexing plus vaccination and microchip at The Unusual Pet Vets.
