About Odin and Delilah
Odin (white) and Delilah (grey) were being bid on by slaughter buyers at the local saleyard and as fate would have it, a kind person was at the yards that day and threw them a lifeline.
They were infected with coccidia and underweight, and now that they’ve been brought back to health they are ready to find their dream home together
Delilah is a sweet girl who loves pats abs cuddles, but her best friend Odin is a little more cautious but is happy to take treats from your hand and his trust continues to be built.
Odin is desexed and he and Delilah are both microchipped and up to date with vaccinations, worming and live treatment
They will need:
- To eat 20kgs of dry matter every day, so unless you’re happy feeding out haha heavily, you need space! In high growth areas, this means 2-3 acres per cow and in drier areas, they may need 5 acres and still need to be fed round bales through winter. Can you commit to that expense for the next 20 years?
- Annual vaccinations
- Fecal egg counts at the change of every season so you can worm appropriately
- Handling facilities
- A home where they will never be bred, eaten or sold, who value them for who they are and not what can be taken from them.
If you can offer this sweet pair an excellent home with acres to roam, please get in touch!
