About Parmie
Hi there My name is Parmie and I am looking for my forever home.
I am a VERY shy little girl, and I need someone who is going to be patient with me and understand that I haven't had the best start to life. My foster family have a lovely cat named Ivy who I LOVE, we have been introduced slowly and that worked very well, although she does get a bit grumpy at me sometimes but that doesn't stop me loving her. I have recently become confident enough to be introduced to the doggo as well, who I used to be quite unsure of, sometimes I think he believes he is a cat like Ivy and me.
During my time with my foster family, I have gained a lot of confidence, but I still have a long way to go, I take a little while to gain trust and do not love to be picked up. BUT I do love head/chin scratches, sometimes it puts me to sleep. I used to sleep in my own safe space, but I am now brave enough to sleep on my foster mum's bed and I like to wake her up by jumping on her in the morning.
I am very food motivated and LOVE treats but not too many as I am watching my weight. I like toys and use to think my foster mum's hand was a good thing to play with but she has since taught me that I must only play with cat toys and not human skin.
If you would like to come and meet me, please let the team know and they can set up a meet and greet. You probably won't see too much of me but maybe if my foster mum gives you some of my favourite treats, I might come out for a little head scratch.
Thank you for stopping by my profile, I hope you liked what I have written about myself. I can't WAIT to meet my forever person/family.
Bye, bye for meow.
Adoption details
Just browse some of the photos of our beautiful cats available for adoption or come to our shelter in Shenton Park to meet our many beautiful kitties.
Please be aware that the cats featured on this page represent only a very small portion of the total number of beautiful felines we have available for adoption. We do not include any of our kittens on this page, as the turnover for youngsters is simply too high to keep up-dating, but we always have many beautiful kittens looking for homes!
Also many of our cats and kittens are currently staying in temporary foster homes out in the community but are still looking for a loving home, so please call Cat Haven in advance if you want to make arrangements for a meeting with a foster cat.
