About Evie
We have made a commitment to keep beautiful Evie together with her bonded brother Dom (Dominic).
These two are very special to me. I rescued and adopted Evie and Dom's sibling my little Lilla. If I didn't already have 5 catsI would have taken them both in a heartbeat. I'm absolutely confident that Evie will blossom in a foster home (or better still a forever home).
All the cats from this particular colony have not only been stunning but have beautiful natures. I fell in love with both from the moment I saw them in the colony and made it a mission to save her and Dom (some of the photos shown here were taken prior to their rescue). I can't get enough of patting this beautiful girl. She feels amazing and I'm sure she is enjoying it. She has this quirky way of lifting her bum in the air when I'm patting her and it's pretty obvious that she's loving it. It's a family trait because Dom does it too and so does their little sister.
Unfortunately we haven't been able to spend the time they need to give the two of them the one on one attention they deserve. I've seen it with her little sister so can tell you what to expect once she is is a loving home with her bestie Dom. You will see some of the videos are of Evie and Dom in a crate in a garage. That's just purely because we don't have the luxury of space to let the two of them have run of our homes. It's time to say goodbye to the crate and go to a loving home instead.
My dream for Evie and Dom is to share their forever human's lounge, bed and of course home with them. We believe their ideal home needs to be a quiet one with either a couple or single person. We don't think they are ready for a busy family yet. This will be their first home and if you decide to take them into your home we recommend you start them off in just one room until they start to feel more comfortable. They love toys so you can look forward to tempting them with toys. Just recently we let them out of their crates and they have free run of the garage. They were having a wonderful time together with two other friendly cats and lots of toys. They are now back in their cages and we desperately want them in their forever home or with a foster carer.
Ring or email if you want to know more about Evie and Dom.
Medical notes
Evie was rescued from a colony in Sydney's Inner West. This colony have all been well cared for and very healthy. They were desexed, vaccinated F3 and microchipped at the first vet visit and there were no detected health conditions. They are up to date with flea and worm treatments. We don't know their background or history prior to finding them living in this colony. We believe that they were born in this colony. Please note: we have rehomed many beautiful cats from this colony

Adoption details
We want to make it simple. So this is the process:
(1) You contact us.
(2) We contact you.
(3) You complete our adoption application* with the aim being to give us insight into you, your lifestyle and the home you could provide.
* especially due to COVID restrictions we encourage you to provide photos and ideally a video introduction and walk-through of your home. We are particularly interested in seeing how secure it is to keep your cat safe inside.
(4) You meet the Cat(s).
(5) Subject to Cat Committee approval and a house inspection (plus a modest adoption fee), you adopt the Cat.
(6) As part of the adoption change of ownership the microchip number will be transferred to you.
You will be required to then do NSW Lifetime Registration with your local council and must present them with a copy of the desex certificate. Most councils charge approximately $50 - $75 for this. It if very important that you remember to notify your local council if you move addresses to ensure your cats lifetime registration has current contact detail
