Hi, lovely to meet you! I'm Gem.

I am very excited to find my forever home! I was adopted from Cat Haven as a kitten and I was lucky to spend 8 years with a family but unfortunately am looking for a new forever home after they could no longer take care of me. This experience has made me a little nervous, I like hidey spots when no one is around but as soon as you get home - I'm a different cat! I get so excited to see you that my tail shakes, some times I meow softly and roll over for tummy rubs. I love food, especially biscuits but most of all I love humans and spending time with them. I'm not much of a lap cat nor do I much like being picked up but I'll always be near you and ready for head-buts. Of course I'd need a slow introduction to your existing family, there are dogs & cats at my foster home but we're yet to boop snoots. I am not sure how I feel about them yet, I like company especially if my humans work but I am also used to being on my own - that's my nap time.

I am a little on the chonky side, since being in foster I have slowly lost a healthy amount of weight. This means that I must not be over fed, especially because I'm not a very active lady. My fur isn't very long but a good brush helps me keep it in good condition. If it sounds like I'd fit in to your home, please contact Cat Haven - I can't wait to meet you!
