About Paddington
💙 Paddington 💙
Look who’s ready to find his happily ever after.
After months of dealing with working on the best way forward for eating, tests, surgery’s, post op recovery it’s now tile for Paddington to find that amazing and perfect family to call his own.
Paddington is a very cheeky and very intelligent pup who is absolutely brimming with personality. He is 100% aware of how cute you think he is and will try (and usually get away with it) to use it to his advantage.
He's very well behaved, not at all mouthy, crate trained, extremely cuddly, great with other dogs, and mostly toilet trained. Paddington is also quickly picking up leash walking, and very good at responding to verbal cues. He loves playing with toys, whether it be with other dogs, people, or by himself.
Paddington had PRAA (persistent right aortic arch), which meant a fetal blood vessel did not regress as it should have and was restricting his oesophagus. This left poor Paddington unable to eat without throwing up as it strangled him and normal food was unable to get through. This has been surgically corrected, and now Paddington can eat but does require some care and
It is crucial that Paddington's adoptive family only feed him his special diet.
Paddington needs to go to a home with a family that can look into his beautiful, big eyes and tell him NO to that little bit of steak off your plate. Cos he’s going to give you the eyes but you simply can not allow him to eat anything else, this would limit families that don’t know how to say no, or struggle to go through the grocery store with out buying your pooch a treat 😉young kids included unless the kids are dog savvy and don’t like sharing their food. We can not stress this enough!
Paddington’s adoption fee is $1200.
If you think you have the ability to say no, the energy to work this beautiful teenage working breed and want to look at adding a Paddington to your family please head to www.abcrescue.com.au and complete an adoption application form. 💙
