About Stormy
Hi there, my name is Stormy!
I’m an enthusiastic young lady with springs for paws and a very smart brain. I know heaps of tricks and have even won a few awards for my amazing skills! I’m looking for a family who will take me on walks, continue my trick and sport dog training, and most importantly, love me forever. Can you give me that perfect home?
Stormy came into care almost a year ago and has been on the lookout for her perfect home ever since, and she can’t believe she hasn’t found it yet. This gorgeous girl is a little over a year old (15 months to be exact) and she’s got an incredible, quirky and lively personality.
As she’s already said, Stormy has completed an enormous amount of training with her foster carers. She’s got all her basic training (sit, stay, down, come, and heel) all down pat, but wait, there’s more! She also knows the basics of Obedience and Rally, agility, flyball, and tracking. And she’s just received her novice trick dog title (she knows more than 20 tricks!) and her foundation parkour title. In a nutshell, this girl has huge potential as a sport dog and she’ll happily try her paws at anything you throw at her.
Stormy loves other dogs, but unfortunately she didn’t have anyone to teach her manners when she was a young pup, so she can be a bit too acrobatic for some dogs. She loves to wrestle with other medium and large dogs and her favourite games are tug, chasey, and bitey-face. She would love a home with another dog or two, but she’d also be perfectly happy as an only dog and keep all your attention to herself.
Stormy, didn’t have the best start to life, sometimes things can startle her and make her anxious. This has improved with the help of her foster carers, and she’s much less bothered by these things now, but it’s something to keep in mind. Because she’s so excited to make new friends, she can be extremely exuberant to dogs she meets on walks. Her adopters will need to continue working with her in this area so she understands that she doesn’t need to greet every dog she sees.
A Last Word From Her Carer…
“Stormy has such a fun bubbly personality! I compare her to our favourite stripy friend, Tigger, because she’s always bouncing around and making friends. She’s very extroverted and independent, but she also loves her humans and wants a snuggle as soon as she’s completed her daily sniffs and zoomies. She fancies herself a model and loves to pose for photos. And of course, she’s got that adorable floppy ear, I’m pretty sure no one can resist that level of cuteness!”
*Stormy is available for interstate adoption to be paid at adopters' expense*.

Adoption details
Hear No Evil's Adoption process:
1st Step * Complete the application form found in the description. Your application will be assessed and if we feel you are a match one of our team will give you a call to discuss your application in more details.
2nd Step * A Meet and Greet with the dog and all members of the adopting family and and current dogs is arranged where possible.
This usually coincides with a Yard check to ensure the safety and security of the property on which the dog will be kept. - We understand that this is not always possible in interstate adoptions and this will be discussed on your initial contact.
3rd Step *Payment of the non-refundable doption fee in full. The dog is then handed over with any belongings, and all relevant paperwork and records.
Transport arrangements are the financial responsibility of the Adopting party. Hear No Evil are happy to assist with departure preparations and ensuring the dog makes its transport connection.
Final step * Once the 14 day 'settling in' period has ended, the change of ownership microchip details are submitted, and the adoption is officially finalised.
