About Nellie
ππ NELLIE ππ
Introducing the stunning Nellie! Who is finally ready to find her furever home π₯°
This sweet girl came to us with her boyfriend (who was foster failed), she went for her vet visit as all our dogs do when they first arrived and our Vet had a suspicion that Nellie had some precious cargo she snuck into Rescue with us π some Xrays were done and it was confirmed, Nellie was to be a mum β€ The Vet could only see 3 puppies, but we have learnt over the years prepare for double the amount we can see ;) and lucky we did, as she birthed 6 beautiful puppies! All who have grown quickly and found their furever homes π₯°
Now it's Nellie's turn to find her furever home π This girl is super sweet, she just loves people. Pats are the best! And playtime is her second favourite thing! Nellie just loves to play! All the toys are fun, especially squeaky ones! And zoomies are even more fun! π Nellie is a happy girl who is easily pleased with attention. She loves to cuddle on the couch with you in the evenings and guard the yard from potential threats during the day, alerting you with a warning bark. However don't be fooled, whoever comes up to the fence may be greeted with a bark, but a tail wag and smile for pats is followed shortly after π€£π€£ (not the best guard dog ;) )
Nellie has just the most beautiful nature, all she wants is to love & be loved. She is very well mannered at food time, she will sit & wait before eating π And doesnβt beg when you are eating although will sometimes get close to it hoping maybe you will give up one little bite :P Nellie walks well on the lead, pulls a little at first from excitement but settles very quickly π She travels well in the car too, she just loves going on adventures.
This gorgeous girl would love an active family with a large yard she can do her zoomies in and a large couch the whole family can pile onto with her for snuggles π₯° Nellie thrives with enrichment toys and is fed a BARF (Biologically Appropriate Raw Food) diet consisting mostly of Big Dog Pet Foods π She will benefit continuing a species appropriate diet in her furever home.
Nellie is good with all other dogs, she would love a play friend who she can run around with and wrestle π But she is also ok to be on her own too as long as she got to be apart of the family.
This sweet, gorgeous girl is truly one of a kind. Any family would be lucky to have her π She is great with children of all sizes, she is however untested with cats.
