About Abby
FOSTER CARER OR FOSTER TO ADOPT REQUIRED for Abby a three year old staffy x female. Let’s face it this girl has had it rough she was previously adopted from another rescue and she is now coming into rescue again therefore we want to ensure that this next placement is her absolute last. Abby is an incredibly friendly dog, she can jump up in excitement when she is greeting people. She has not been exposed to children however loves to meet new people. She has undergone some training with a professional to focus on loose lead walking and interacting with other animals as she is very anxious around other dogs. She focuses well in low distraction areas. A lot of Abby’s behaviours come from a lack of exposure and with desensitisation and counter conditioning these can absolutely be addressed. Abby is a very intelligent young dog who needs mental enrichment and a kind and confident handler who can take her out and about and teach her about the world. We are 100 percent committed to helping Abby therefore are offering ongoing professional training sessions to help Abby settle into a new environment and thrive. We think Abby would best be suited to being the only dog in a household.
Southern suburbs of Adelaide preferred so we can provide the necessary support if required.

If you are interested in one of our animals please phone or send an email to rescue@btcanimalshelter.com.au and we will reply as soon as possible.
A questionnaire will need to be completed which will allow us to ensure we are placing our animals into the right home. Please note that completing the questionnaire does not place you under any obligation to adopt. If we think you might be a good match we can arrange a meet and greet for you (and existing pets) to spend some time with the pet and see if they are likely to fit into your life.
