About Rosie
🌹❤ ROSIE ❤🌹
This sweet senior, Rosie, is ready for her retirement home 🥰
Rosie came into rescue literally skin and bone, the poor girl was so malnourished and covered in tumors it broke so many hearts 💔 But with some of the best food from @Big Dog Pet Foods and @Lyka Pet Food along with plenty of love, she has put on weight and has her energy levels back (as much as a senior has ;) ) . Rosie is an older girl who has suffered a horrible life prior to coming to us, as a result she has needed multiple surgeries for removal of tumors on her legs, skin, and mammary glands. Then she required an extensive dental surgery to remove alot of her teeth due to them being so rotten :( She has been on so many antibiotics and has already had 3 surgeries.
Now 6 months later she has recovered well and is ready to settle into a loving furever home for her retirement 💕
Rosie is very low maintenance, she likes to lounge around most of the day but come the evening she loves her walks when there aren’t many dogs out and it’s not too hot, as she gets tired in the heat. Rosie loves to be free to sniff and sniff and sniff all the driveways and gardens she can! Her foster parents say she is ‘obsessed’ with sniffing 😁 She isn't in a hurry to get anywhere, she is happy with just a gentle stroll around the neighbourhood and would love to explore the wilderness to sniff out all of the good things with her family 😊
Because of her age and past where she was like bred over and over, she doesn’t much like other dogs now, but she loooooves her humans big & small, she will always be close by ready to receive some lovin’ from her humans 🥰 Rosie is food motivated and will show off her tricks and basic commands, when she’s not being stubborn 🤦♀️ she is a senior citizen after all 🤷♀️ She has blossomed into her own dog 😉
Rosie will thrive in a relaxed home where someone is home most of the time, maybe you work from home and would love some company? 🤗

1. An Adoption application MUST be filled out prior to the meet and greet with the animal.
2. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place if application is approved.
2a. You must bring your current dog along to the meet and greet if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption.
