About Delilah
๐ฅฐโค๏ธ Delilah โค๏ธ๐
Introducing the gorgeous Delilah, or Lilah as she is lovingly called, who is ready to find her furever family โค๏ธ
Delilah had a rough start to rescue and unfortunately ended up with some battle scars after being attacked by another dog, (as seen in her photos) but this girl is a warrior and has never let her injuries slow her downโฆ she is part staffy after all ๐
Delilah definitely pulls lots of her traits from her staffy side! She is super strong and can jump super high! ๐ช๐ผ She is currently working very hard on her lead training, but will need someone capable of matching her strength. She is also super excitable and does jump up and mouth if over excited. She is making great progress in her โsettleโ training but will need a family willing to set boundaries for her and not encourage this behaviour. She doesnโt make it easy for you though! ๐ This girl has the biggest puppy dog eyes and is just so darn cute! She is clumsy and does the funniest, most random things- youโll never be bored with this girl around! ๐
Miss lilah is a love bug! She LOVES a snuggle and a belly rub! From anyone! If she canโt cuddle her humans, she has been found snuggled up with his foster fur siblings ๐ Delilah loves kids and will gently lean against them for pats and follow them around like a shadow. However, due to her a strength and excitability, dog savvy kids would be best.
Delilah would definitely love to have a fur sibling, but would do ok as an only dog as well. ๐พ She does have mild separation anxiety but through enrichment and training, this is improving. She would however benefit from a family who is home more often than not and who will include her in all the fun things life has to offer.
Delilah is crate trained, but would definitely prefer a family who will let her snuggle up on the end (or middle) of their bed or the couch ๐ She does snore though, so be prepared with some ear plugs ๐ Miss Lilah is an early bird! Anywhere between 5am-6am is her ideal wake timeโฆ ๐ฅด and she loves to start her day off with a bang!
A quick trip to the toilet and some excited zoomies through the house and this girl is ready for the day! ๐ She loves a morning walk, but what she loves most of all is a good run! And boy oh boy can she get some speed on her! She loves to chase but has no interest in fetch! Other dogs and birds are her specialty. Delilah does play well with others, but needs proper introductions so would not be suitable for dog parks at this stage.
Delilah is currently fed a mixed diet of raw Big Dog Pet Foods with cooked Lyka Pet Food or Prime100 and fresh fruit and veges. She would benefit from continuing this diet ๐
If you are looking for a gorgeous, loveable, crazy goof in your life, look no further than delilah! ๐
