About Russel and Uzi
Adoptable, bonded pair
Desexed, treated with Revolution and full balanced raw diet
These boys are farther and son, Uzi the son is a bit smaller than his farther and both are tightly bonded. There was some issues after desexing where they didn't wish to get along, but it was simply because they were too close to intact males and so when moved to a different cage that was fixed.
These boys are middle aged and still reasonably active, in their old home (the land of no ferrets) they got a lot of free roam time and have only shown nippy behavior when annoyed. They haven't been tested around kids yet, but I don't think they'll have a problem and meet/greet is always advised before adoption.
They love all kinds of raw and have been great with whole prey, both boys have big appetites. This does mean while they are fairly stocky, they could definitely get bulkier and possibly lazier. They are chunky enough, that I am unable to hold them both in one hand and Russel has hit 1.6kg in the past without being overweight.
Adoption details
The rescue is located about 10 min from Erina Fair at Springfield nsw 2250.
Ferrets are not a cheep pet and not all vets are experienced with ferrets. Bathing too much can affect thier coat chemestry and incorrect diet can affect thier internal chemistry, both of which can cause a ferret to smell more.
