About Thor
Thor is always happy to see you! He has a great temperament and quickly makes friend with every person. He is a confident dog that likes pats and smooches.
This playful young dog loves a game of tug, kind of plays fetch, and generally likes to be hard-slapped on the ribs to show how much you love him.
Thor is chill-as by himself. He is used to living as an only dog, and he won't mind at all if his new people work full time as long as he gets walks and play time either side of work. Of an evening, Thor is very willing to have cuddles on the couch with his family.
Thor is toilet trained and is used to using a doggy door to take himself in and out. He is a good fella inside the house.
This lad gets excited when he sees his lead, because he loves going for a walk or for a car ride. He's a good boy in the car. When out on walks, he will wag as he passes another dog.
Thor has interacted in a friendly way with all dogs he has met in care. He does like to play rough wrestling games, so if he was to go to a home with another dog, he would need a dog with a similar size and disposition. Thor is used to living as an only dog.
Thor has lived with cats before, but can be opportunistic about chasing them. He is probably best suited to a home with no cats or with cats who are very dog confident. Note that Thor hasn't been nasty to cats, just keen to be involved them in a game that cats don't so much like.
We feel Thor is best suited to children 12+ years of age, as he has a low level bite history surrounding overarousal and inappropriate play behaviour. This is not outright aggression, just a lack of education about what is okay and not okay to do when playing.
Thor is a fee-free adoption. He is located in Hamley Bridge.
