About Tiger
My Human Foster family call me Tiger because I have lots of stripes, but you can rename me if I come and live at yours. I am 7 months old.
I love the human foster kids and sleep in their bed (or under it) every night. Sometimes I like to wake the human kids up by licking their ears in the morning!! They don't mind.....they need to get up for school anyway.
I don't eat much - I like to stay slim - it's just the way I am. My brother would eat his food and mine too, especially as the humans feed us salmon, tuna and chicken a few times a week. My brother is now adopted.
I love the humans and keep their house clean. I always use the litter tray. I have hissed at the next door neighbour's dog and the vet. I'd probably get on ok with the dog, if it lived with my human foster family and me, but not the vet - she can stay at her house!
I have a deep mark in my left eye. It's all ok and no problems with it. The vet says this is an old trauma injury from when I was a kitten and before I was fostered. They think I came from a hoarders house with loads of other cats - this explains why I will literally sleep anywhere or drink from anywhere (don't tell anyone, but if the toilet lid is up, I will drink from there too - I think it tastes nicer than from my fresh water bowl that the Humans put out for me every day).
I also have Feline coronavirus. The vet thinks this has also come from when I was a kitten at the Hoarders house. My humans foster mum say I'm just like a normal cat though and have no symptoms. I need to be your only cat or be adopted with another cat that has my condition, like Arnold.
Adoption details
Just browse some of the photos of our beautiful cats available for adoption or come to our shelter in Shenton Park to meet our many beautiful kitties.
Please be aware that the cats featured on this page represent only a very small portion of the total number of beautiful felines we have available for adoption. We do not include any of our kittens on this page, as the turnover for youngsters is simply too high to keep up-dating, but we always have many beautiful kittens looking for homes!
Also many of our cats and kittens are currently staying in temporary foster homes out in the community but are still looking for a loving home, so please call Cat Haven in advance if you want to make arrangements for a meeting with a foster cat.
