Bernice is a young energetic black girl full of affection fun and very playful, lovingly referred to as the “Energiser Bunny”
Bernice never made to the track and basically spent her entire life in a kennel existence without knowledge of domestic home life. However within two days in her new foster home, she had mastered the dog door and learnt to go out for her toileting, made friends with the house greys, slept quietly throughout the night and was a very easy dog to feed ( she has a good appetite ).
Having adapted to her new foster home her confidence has come to shine and is now playing with soft toys, knows the house routines and loves to stir up the other dogs for games and chases (sometimes much to their displeasure as they would rather rest in peace)
Bernice loves her morning walks taking in all the new sights and sniffs but especially enjoys meeting new people and dogs where she hands out her greetings.
Being a young energetic dog, Bernice would require an household that would provide plenty of stimulation and give her long daily walks. In return she would provide lots of affection and happiness.
Bernice is not cat tolerant.
We do not adopt dogs to live in apartments, some Townhouses would be considered.
