About Eden
Eden is a friendly but shy girl. She is nervous meeting other dogs. It is overwhelming for her. She came from the pound with heartworm and treatment commenced early Aug and she had her microfilaria test at the end of Jan 22. The treatment will be finished at the end of February 22. Eden walks on loose lead at a good pace and ignoring cars but lunges playfully at other dogs. She loves to jog.
Walkers say very anxious with people and dogs. Very friendly and very sweet girl. Scared of other dogs”, “Quite affectionate, enjoyed cuddles. Well trained , sits on command. Pulls a little on lead if she sees another dog”, “Good walker, nice pace. Ignored most dogs. Lunged excitedly at some dogs” Loves treats. Eden is best suited to a home where she does not come across many dogs out walking. She has a smooth coat and weighs 19.6kg
Garden: Needs a home that has more space as well as a garden for exercise and regular walks outside.
Suit Full Time Worker: Not overly needy and can entertain itself. DR recommends play time, dog toys etc.
NEEDS RESCUE EXPERIENCE: Many people grow up with, or own a dog who has had no bad experiences in life. A dog who is confident and well rounded. However, many rescue dogs have not been as lucky in their lives.
These dogs need someone with previous rescue experience and an in depth understanding of and experience in building relationships with these kinds of dogs.
Medical notes
She comes desexed, C5 vaccinated, heartworm free and microchipped. Also included for the love and health of our dogs is a free Health and Wellness Voucher with our DR Vet
Adoption details
DoggieRescue is a charitable organisation and as such we rely very much on volunteers to manage our adoptions. We answer initial adoption enquiries by email or phone and then arrange an appointment for you to meet some of our rescue dogs.
At DoggieRescue we believe our dogs deserve to find that special someone who will love them and look after them forever. We know that there are homes out there that are willing to accommodate one more little member of the family and dedicate time to their well being.
