About Gabrielle
Gabrielle - 6 months old - Female DSH
Gabrielle is available for adoption for $200 which includes all of her vet work (desex, microchip and FIV/FELV testing) and she is also up to date with vaccinations and flea/tick/worm treatments.
Pssst, hey! Meet Gabrielle! Gabrielle was part of a community of cats living at a local dump. One day when she was hungry enough she wandered in to our trap for a little snack and her life changed for good. Gabby was lucky and came in to care with SCA to be nursed to health and find a warm and understanding home to show her the ropes.
By some miracle, Gabby was relatively healthy but she did still need good food to help her gain weight and to see the vet to get some bits taken out (desex) and some bits put in (microchip and vaccines)! The vets confirmed that she had recently had a traumatic miscarriage and had a lot of blood in her belly so luckily it's crisis averted, she won't be having any kittens or getting sick from her bleeding belly. She's healthy and up to date now and looking to learn some more social skills.
Gabrielle is still shy and wary from growing up in a dump but is now learning that people won't hurt her, pats feel nice and make her want to purr (even though she's still a bit scared) and that the food just keeps on coming! Even though Gabby is still shy and shaky she has never tried to scratch or bite anyone and is generally pretty tolerant and accepting of people.
Gabby is looking for a loving and patient forever home to call her own (and/or a confident, nurturing foster carer) who can help her learn the luxurious lifestyle of a house cat!
Do you have space for Gabrielle? We would love to hear from you!
