How do I even begin to explain Mr. Quinn? Coming in from an outback pound we never really know what kind of animal we will end up with, but I can tell you this dude did not disappoint.
With the most gentle nature, Quinn loves you with his whole body. He enjoys head scritches and neck scritches and back scritches, heck just scritch him all over he loves it all. He will push his head and body into you to receive as many more scritches as you're willing to give, and if you're done, that's OK too he will just nap nearby until you've recharged.
Quinn initially came into care and was very scared - he spent months hiding under a lounge only coming out very late at night to snuggle some warm feet through the blanket, but once the sun came up he was hidden again out of sight. Many things were tried but he did not settle in that place, so he came for a bit of a 'vaycay' with me. Quinn was still scared, but started to settle in an enclosure inside covered with sheets in my office. Slowly he would start to accept pats, and even start to move out of the hidey hole, and before we knew it he was confidently owning the enclosure and loving on his foster mam with the enclosure fully exposed to the room with sheets no longer required. Quinn spends his days sitting either sitting on the cat tower staring (and sniffing!) out the window, on another cat tower next to my desk while working, or on the ottoman under my desk snuggled against my leg.
Quinn exists peacefully with a large dog and other cats.
Quinn will need a patient owner who will allow him the time to settle and become comfortable in his new environment without forcing him and causing him to hide and lose all the progress he's made. In return, you will receive never-ending love and companionship from this beautiful boy.
Quinn is FIV+
