About Dudley
Our Darling Dudley is back ready to find his forever family.
Are you looking for a goofy, flat faced, cheeky boy to add to your family?
Lover of everything fun. Dogs, children and even the cat. Dudley is looking for a family that will keep his manners in check, whilst having fun with him.
Dudley is 12month old adorable, cheeky, naughty southern cross bulldog. A southern cross bulldog is generally a British Bulldog mixed with a Dogue De Bordeaux. These dogs are strong willed, some what stubborn, but very loving and social dogs.
In Dudley's case he has had so much Doggy socialising that he loves all and every single one of them. He has had also alot of kiddy socialising that he also loves them all BUT he does forget his bulldozer size and will knock over the small ones.
Dudley is the biggest sook and loves nothing more than a cuddle. He will be your little shadow but is also very good at entertaining himself by chewing on every stick and leaf he can find and throwing his toys around. He can be shy at first but comes around to new people super quickly, once he realises there are cuddles involved there's no stopping him.
Dudley is a darling, full of life and love. He doesn't know how to stop or when to stop as everything is so exciting.
Dudley will need to be an inside/outside boy and loves hanging with his humans. He is learning to toilet outside but this is an ongoing discussions with this back chatting man. Dudley can go with other dogs, but no working breeds please.
We would also like his new family to continue crate training.
Dudley has a narrow trachea (airway), he has had all the surgery to help open this up as we can do, so he will just need to be managed as he ages. As mentioned above Dudley is great with other dogs and loves them so much, but the excitement and long play can lead to Dudley reaching for breathe. A dog of similar breed and play would be good.
2. Dudley loves his children, any dog savvy aged children would be fine,
3. NO Hikers, stair case walkers or over the topTreat givers. Dudley im sure would try and make your hike, jog or 10k walk, but his little or not so little body just cant hack it. He needs to stay a lean mean muscle machine with out the 10k walks.
Dudley, requires his stimulation in the form of training (leash, name, sit, drop, play dead, crawl etc) and in no time you will have a doggo that should be on a reality TV show. Dudley needs to be a normal dog with limited agility.
4. Dudley MUST be allowed inside and outside with his family. 😃
5. Dudley is not available for interstate adoptions, Dudley is required to attend 2 appointments at our Greenbank clinic post adoption. He will need to live with in 30mins of our Greenbank clinic whilst in this foster to adopt contract.
If you would like to discuss the option of having Dudley join your family please get in touch.
